In the course of its six-year existence, it has become a cultural tourist landmark of the City of Buenos Aires, visited not only by Argentine people, but also by thousands of tourists from all over the world. The building that houses the Evita Museum is a magnificent early 20th century construction. This house was purchased in the year 1948 by the María Eva Duarte de Perón Social Aid Foundation to accommodate the No. 2 Temporary Home. The museum includes objects loaned by the Álvarez Rodríguez family (Evita's nieces and nephews) and objects donated by Carlos Lopreito, Eugenio Ledesma, Mónica  Labarthé,  Andrés Bevilacqua, Pedro Bevilacqua, Saúl Macyszyn, Gabriel Miremont,Cristina Banfi . Many individuals have donated objects of their belonging, treasured for decades, waiting for the appropriate moment to be exhibited. A place where  Evita's memory is present: The museum’s Bar-Restaurant Italian-Buenos Aires classic food with all the flavors of the haute cuisine, at the heart of the museum, in a warm and welcoming environment. Come and enjoy a good breakfast, an executive lunch, or have tea with delicious homemade cakes. Taste the exclusive wines from our cellar or have dinner á la carte. At the store you can find Books, postcards and objects for visitors to have a souvenir of their tour through the museum.
